EVANSVILLE, Ind. — September 25, 2026 — Fleet Service Partners (FSP) celebrated the grand opening of its expanded Evansville facility on Thursday, September 24, marking a major milestone in the company’s continued investment in its team, customers and the Greater Evansville community.
Customers, community leaders, industry partners and team members gathered at FSP’s 8136 Baumgart Road location for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours, equipment demonstrations and an open house showcasing the company’s expanded capabilities.
The ceremony included remarks from Fleet Service Partners General Manager Tyler Greathouse; Matthew Nix, President and fifth-generation owner of NIX® Companies; and Evansville Deputy Mayor Lindsey Snyder.
The expansion significantly increases FSP’s ability to serve commercial fleets, contractors and businesses throughout the region. The new facility features 10 large service bays, two 10-ton bridge cranes, four 5-ton hoists, a 60-foot paint booth and a dedicated paint mix room.
More importantly, the expansion brings key FSP operations and team members together at one location, creating a more streamlined experience for customers needing truck equipment and upfitting, paint and body repair, trailer sales and service, parts, accessories and ongoing maintenance.
“Not only is this about serving our customers in one location, it’s also about bringing our team together. Our team is our greatest asset, and having everyone in one place allows us to better support our customers,” said Greathouse.
Fleet Service Partners was launched in 2025 by NIX® Companies, bringing together three established Evansville-area businesses — Indiana Body Works, Elpers Truck Equipment and Midwest Trailer Sales — under one unified company.
The consolidation combines decades of experience in commercial vehicle repair, truck equipment, upfitting, parts and trailer sales and service while simplifying how customers manage their vehicles and equipment.
For customers, the concept is straightforward: fewer stops and one trusted partner capable of supporting a vehicle throughout its working life.

The new facility represents more than additional capacity. It is part of a continued investment by FSP and NIX® Companies in skilled trades, local employment and the Evansville business community.

Construction of the new facility was led by Key Construction, with financing support from German American Bank.
The grand opening also brought together numerous industry partners, including CTW Electrical, DeJana Liftgate, Logan Truck Bodies, IMT, Buyers Products, VMAC, Vanair, Worksport, Maxon Liftgate, GoLight, ECCO, AG Body, Meyer Distributing, Truck Covers USA and others. Guests had the opportunity to see products and equipment firsthand, meet directly with vendors and tour the expanded operation.
The event concluded with facility tours, equipment demonstrations, networking and lunch from Miller’s BBQ.
