Nothing is more important than ensuring the safety of our people. We invest time, training, and resources to make safety second nature at NIX®.

Strategies For Success:

  • Embed safety into our culture from the top down.
  • Coach and empower site-specific safety leaders from the ground up.
  • Conduct regular Gemba Walks and audits.
  • Invest directly in safety improvements and training.
  • Hold daily safety toolbox meetings.
  • Hold weekly company-wide safety topics & near-miss/good catch shares. 
  • Celebrate safety milestones and achievements.

We stand behind our work with rigorous quality systems and certifications. From AISC and ISO accreditation to standardized processes, we strive ensure every project meets the highest standards.

Strategies For success:

Our Goal (WIG): Warranty rate of 0.5% or less.

How We Measure Success:

Our customers rely on us to deliver dependable, cost-effective solutions without compromise. We apply lean principles and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) to shorten lead times, maximize throughput, and ensure efficiency.

  • Leverage technology and automation to reduce costs.
  • Pay top wages and attract top talent, who produce more than their peers.
  • Track throughput, on-time delivery, and machine uptime.
  • Continuously train and develop our people with CRAFT & LEAD programs.

Our Goals (WIGs):

  1. Volume- Gross Profit at or above plan.
  2. Dependability- Reduce ‘critical manufacturing path time’ (CMT)  (aka- lead time).
  3. Efficiency- Increase gross profit per man-hour. (GPMH).

How We Measure Success:

  • Volume and throughput (tons, man hours, gross profit)
  • Dependability (on-time delivery, attendance, uptime)
  • Efficiency (bid vs. actual, GP per asset, GP per man hour)
